Arabic Culture

Arabic culture, we believe, is an integral part of learning Arabic language. In other words, if one wants to be proficient in Arabic, he must acquaint himself well with Arabic culture. We specifically mean religion, customs and traditions, food, music, and literature.

For religion, our articles are on different aspects of Islam. Some example of these are Sunni Islam, Shiite Islam, Fasting, the meaning of Islam, among many others. As for customs and traditions, we describe styles of life and social events. For instance, we illustrate how people celebrate marriages and congratulate each others on special occasions. Table manners is another interesting custom to describe.

Food is a very interesting cultural topic. So, we will describe how different types of dishes from around the Arab World are made. Since most people enjoy music while eating, some of our articles are about songs and singers from around the Arab world.

Literature is another important topic. Some of our articles are about poetry, poets, and famous literary figures.

We hope that you enjoy our articles.
